This is madness. The incumbency advantage is ENORMOUS, and I believe some are drastically overstating the number of single issue (Gaza) voters vs. the millions of pro abortion, pro democracy voters who see Trump as the objectively worse choice.
A hypothetical upside is better than no upside whatsoever which is what we get if Biden remains.
I doubt a single voter would switch from Biden to Trump if Biden was replaced. All of Biden’s support would come over, and they may coax out some double haters who were planning to sit things out.
IDK kind of feels like we should be paying more attention to a prominent conservative think tank saying we're in the midst of a second american revolution that will remain bloodless as long as long as the left lets it be, then whether or not Biden should step down.
The bartender says "sorry, we don't serve faster than light particles here."

The punchline comes before the joke
You know what the worst thing about time travel jokes is?
A world famous writer and show runner CAN NOT have a fully consensual sexual relationship with an employee in her early 20s. This is a person who KNOWS this is true, and did it anyway. He valued his immediate gratification above their personhood. Unforgivable.
I used to tell my kids when they were younger, "you can't make it better, but you can definitely make it worse."
No, you cannot make this better. The time for those choices is past. But what you choose now CAN make it worse. You can always lose more.
What will you choose?
What are you gonna DO?
TWO nuclear physicists died because they were testing a plutonium core using a SCREWDRIVER to raise and lower the shielding by hand. At least the orange didn’t rip your cells apart at the atomic level?
I just need to shout this into the void: tonight at dinner my FIL said he predicts Biden will step down at the convention, and pass the reins to a black woman… I was like, Harris, and he said no, MICHELLE.
What do you do with that kind of fabulist nonsense from a man who takes himself so seriously?
I can't believe we, as a species, invented bread and cheese - two things that require multiple, complicated steps as well as microbe husbandry - and this is the best political system we've got
Tasha Yar did not die a meaningless or senseless death or whatever twaddle the writers insisted on. It was every bit as meaningful as any other security officer on any other away mission who died protecting their crew mates from literal evil. Shame on whoever crafted that narrative.

Anyway "lesbian" has historically not been an exclusive term, and those who rigidly define it in a way to exclude bi/pan women are ignoring that history
Happy Pride Month. Remember: Stonewall wasn't a petition, wasn't a letter of concern, wasn't a dismayed tweet. Stonewall was a RIOT against police harassment and brutality led by street queens of color and angry dykes. We are NEVER going back to hiding who we are.

I think it’s a deliberate example of the essential incompetence of the supervisors, who overestimate the power of their cult’s influence over outsiders, and underestimate the strength of the human will to freedom and autonomy.
Why are there no surveillance cameras in the show Severance? A lot of science fiction just leaves out the notion of surveillance, and it's weird — especially now that we live in a world where we're always being watched in real life.
