Harassing someone with threats until they leave and then publicly celebrating that result is, in fact, “bullying” and anyone who disagrees can fucking block me or I’ll block them. There’s no level of victimization or abuse that justifies victimization or abuse.

Evil is banal. That's how it passes the radar. My wake up moment was when I heard that Lee Iacocca refused to permit safety bags in Pinto gas tanks because it would add 19 bucks to the cost of the car. People died after the tanks cracked in crashes and spewed over passengers. $19

I was going thru the list of jbouie attackers, and a lot of them didn't ring true. More like a disinformation operation to divide the left.

someone mentioned jbouie's 'power' as a nyt journalist and i just want to say i had a trans friend in my DMs today wishing she could publicly support him but she was too afraid of getting dogpiled and harassed. there is a very real power issue here and it's not the one a lot of you think it is.

Here's the thing: the people pulling the fire alarm on Trump v. US are people like Radley, Legal Eagle and @kenwhite.bsky.social , etc. I've followed these guys for years and they are not prone to panic-mongering. They're usually the ones saying, "Take a deep breath". It really is that bad.
