Here’s the thing about the Vance pick: it’s probably unhelpful in electoral terms. But, in terms of governance, it’s further evidence that they’re Going For It. Trump 1 was hobbled in his authoritarian attempt by the admin and GOP. Trump 2 will be aided by both. They’re gonna go for it.

The alarms are blinking red. Trump's allies are plotting a second coup attempt right out in the open. We should fear a genteel January 6 with fewer riots and more lawsuits; the means may differ but the intent is the same.

The Dem realignment on the Biden Ticket Issue is truly surreal. That it’s suddenly the center and pundit class demanding perfection and the left flank going, “guys, what are we doing here?!” is a plot twist even I couldn’t see coming.

This admin has pushed through more left-leaning policies than any other in Bernie's 30 years in Congress, and that's in no small part thanks to his own work and campaigns. He probably knows better than anyone what it means to get Biden re-elected.
