Is it Breviceps macrops that people keep as pets? If so I have discovered that some Japanese enthusiasts call them “potato fairies.”
To my knowledge they mostly keep adspersus, although I’ve seen a few keepers with other species. I got some of the first Bushvelds rains (adspersus) imported into the US
