There's that. There's also the framing of the entire "Left" (however loosely defined) as an enemy of the State. It is hard to overstate the importance of not just beating these people at the polls, but grinding their bones into dust. I mean, if we're going to get all Enemy of the State about it...

They will also end consent decrees (natch). Plus it will make the BJS "focus on producing the statistics of greatest interest to everyday Americans, and hence of policymakers, rather than those of particular interest to criminal-justice academics." The [email protected] provision

Project 2025 will also de-list grizzlies and wolves.

I was telling my physical therapist about my book, and she said, “Oh yeah, sheriffs are bad.” She then said there was a costume party where no one was allowed to come as a sheriff “for obvious reasons.”

Anyone who dresses like a sheriff is just…why. Usually I feel like I tell people about my book and they say HUH WHAT so this made me feel less insane.

I had to look up what this meant lol. I'm not big on scolding people for how they do or don't vote -- people have lots of good reasons to be upset about Biden/ Dems generally. I do take some personal offense at some of the chattering class gaslighting on what seems plainly true.

Agree. Victims don’t need other people telling them how they feel.

I think some of the resistance is a dominant narrative that rape or sexual assault is the “worst thing” that could happen. What capable person wants to be told they are supposed to be ruined for life. (And I don’t think it’s true)

As soon as you say you were raped people act like you’re now a pitiable shell of yourself.

I will vote Democrat no matter what bc I think the right is dangerous. But why am I expected to lie about what I see? It seems absurd to blame “the media” for this.
