People love repeating I Have a Dream, but it's really the Letter from a Birmingham Jail that I find myself tapping the sign over and over for folks. MLK had deep, meaningful thoughts that apply today and the strongest ones I think came up in that letter.

Pretty clear that the Federalist Society project to take over the courts for the far right is the most successful and consequential political effort in history. Only took them a few decades. Meanwhile, Dems are like "Let's not be hasty, blue slips serve an important function in preserving comity."

While I don’t doubt that they endorse this view, the court did just strike a blow to the J6 prosecutions so a more accurate summation would be that law just doesn’t apply to conservatives.

Shorter Supreme Court this term: criminal law is for little people.

The conservative majority wouldn’t have manufactured this precedent if they didn’t believe they would be back in control of the executive branch very soon
