I think an interesting experiment the major newspapers could run would be to tell someone that the following person is in control of a nuclear bomb and then give them a transcript of five random paragraphs of Trump’s speech and to then ask if they think that’s safe.

Some are confused why the GOP doesn't want students fed or provided tampons. After all, schools provide buildings, grounds, gyms, libraries, teachers, nurses, heat, water, more free for all. But they don't want those free to all either. Making them better boosts public support for public schools.
