Political violence has been a constant for a long time, and yeah, it's overwhelmingly from the right. My post wasn't intended to "both sides" it, just as an observation that escalation is a crap shoot. The result of the missed shot has mostly been a shrug. If he died, who knows where we'd be.

I understand that this was a newer/unusual situation b/c people were allowed to bring guns to the rally but wow between this and the cop who saw him on the rooftop and ran away, really seems like all the money in the world wouldn’t change this.
