Seeing a lot of Americans pine for the plural politics of the UK and as fraught as that is, it’s worth highlighting that: Brits ONLY vote local. MPs represent only 10’s of thousands of people. And the Brits don’t pick their executive. Their MPs do.

Reading articles and posts and listening to podcasts about Brits being able to identify with a party or candidate’s manifesto… I feel so jealous. Why has America voting been reduced to “the other guy is worse”? How about giving us something to vote FOR?

well, this is awkward my feelings about awards notwithstanding, i hope the ENNIEs nomination means more people will find out about Replay, about Die RPG, and all the RRD games!

while i am not a fan of awards, and have Strong Opinions about most of them, i was just thinking back to what we did with @deadghost.bsky.social and Replay a story about how little control we have over the art we make for audiences, once capitalism, sponsors & corporations get involved..

Kevin, I am not a historian, so IDK, but has there ever been a President in American History who used a mobility aid? And, if so, would you say this president who was so weak as to need, say, braces or a wheelchair, is considered to be one of the top President’s ever?

A President getting sleep is great! It means the people surrounding them can take shifts and do jobs. Problem is, no one elected those people.

Really crazy that the ENNIEs boil all podcasts, streams, and all other AP down into one category with 5 nominees. Congrats to them! But still, it’s a surprisingly glossed over segment.

My only take on 2024e is: 1. They pretty much copied @koboldpress.com's Tales of the Valiant. 2. I hardly want to jump to a patch-fix that erodes the system's license rights for nearly $200 from a company that insists on using AI, hiring Pinkertons, and being racist.
