Can we say the obvious? Trump is a deranged freak who is using the sickest theocratic freaks alive to enact revenge on everyone who isn’t a slimy, rich date raping suck up or their wives. In comparison to anyone, he is mentally unfit and only has supporters who want to do mentally unfit things.

So much this. I had a DA tell me a week or two ago “You know this case really isn’t going anywhere,” as though she was incapable of doing something about it.

This is a bugaboo for me because prosecutors also love to claim that they don't have a choice when they absolutely do.

The Heritage Foundation “don’t make us kill you, Democrats” statement may mark one of those moments people will read about in 100 years (hopefully!) and think to themselves “why didn’t they freak out when they heard the extremists say that?” (Sadly, it’s just not how humans work most of the time)

That Heritage Foundation statement threatening a violent revolution against the left = that moment in a movie in which the forces of evil loudly announce their evil plans. except in real life, unlike in a movie, most normal people don’t even realize this has *happened* (which is our job).

I wonder what would happen if Biden showed up for his interview and just answered every question with some variation on “My memory isn’t what it uses to be, but I remember that court documents showing Donald Trump raped 12 year old children dropped last week.”
