Yes. Regional Districts. Here's mine. City of Duncan, District of North Cowichan and Town of Ladysmith have municipal governments. The other settlements are too small and have representation in the RD.
Southern Ontario and Quebec have counties (this is most of the population of Canada)
Since summer is apparently arriving mid week, I'm going to take this last opportunity to make curried chicken before it's too hot to spend lots of time in the kitchen.
