People DO know what will happen if Biden withdraws. Rethugs will file lawsuits to block the nominee from being on the ballot. The nominee wont have time to fund raise or campaign. In other words democrats will lose if Pres Biden withdraws.

OTOH, if traffic engineers really believed in the power of signs, they wouldn't bother locking up their offices at the end of the day. They could just hang "No Trespassing" signs on the doorknobs.

Next time your traffic engineers insist that yet another sign will fix it, ask them if a No Trespassing sign will protect their offices.
