I can’t explain how fucked up it is that Threads created a more hostile atmosphere to the New York Times than we did. Tony the Tiger brand humping website just beat our asses.
Wow. @nytimes.com has closed their Threads account and left the platform after days of getting just shredded in the replies for their handling of Biden post debate.
Now they're getting dog piled on Instagram for running from Threads.
Whenever anyone has ever done this preemptively like “oh I bet you’re going to BLOCK me coward” my response is well I hadn’t thought about it but yeah I guess
It’s the horrible secret that no one can share: their actual beliefs. It’s why their Supreme Court nominees just lied to everyone, right in their faces.
Things seem bleak but it’s probably a bad sign for Republicans that people have started mentioning their actual goals and political blueprint and their response is “how fucking dare you??”
Again the proper response to Stephen Miller or Donald Trump or anyone claiming to not be in lockstep with Project 2025 is just to ask them “what part do you disagree with?”
When I saw how bad the ratings were I was kind of surprised that I instantly thought “good I hope they go away, they aren’t helping anything or anyone”

And the fact that the piece didn't even mention that northern Idaho has been regarded as a haven for neo-Nazis and white supremacists since the Aryan Nations set up shop there in the 1970s is just a gobsmacking omission.
I know they get rolled all the time but for the Times to get rolled by “actually they just want to reclaim the values of Western civilization as they see it … with larger families and fewer immigrants” is the Times putting the 14 words in the paper
