They didn't do these kinds of interviews with Trump. They invited him on SNL and Jimmy Fallon. They asked him about his hair. There's a kind of an incredible retconning of the lessons learned from 2016 here. He was kidgloved to the presidency, not repeatedly prodded about his ideology.

Why you should always read author bios, a thread.

Years ago, being a fan of @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com Sandman comic, I picked up his book Marvel 1602. Inside was a Bio on Neil and artist Andy Kubert. From that I learned about the Kubert school, to which I went after college. (1)

I'm still angry about this but I agree completely with John. It's fixable.

I see people taking an opportunity to say the Hugos are ruined, or that they were always bullshit, etc, so I'll say here what I say in the piece and elsewhere: Look what happens when its community sees the Hugos falter. They're not shrugging it off. They're coming to fix it. THAT'S why they matter.
