This is so wild to me, because they won. People stopped torrenting and just got streaming substitutions instead. All they needed to do was keep things the same, and they fucked it up anyway.

Streaming services are becoming less attractive because of rising prices and companies removing content, which is sending people back to piracy. So now the industry is trying to pass laws to penalize digital piracy again.

Happy Reminding-a-certain-kind-of-dude-that-International-Men's-Day-is-in-November Day to all who celebrate!

After 4 years of working mostly from home and switching between my work and personal laptops, I finally bought a Thunderbolt 3 dock so I only have to swap 1 cable instead of 3. It being less of a production will hopefully get me writing more personally.

I don't really buy the "dangerous migrants" claims. As a Black American whose ancestors have been here for a long time, I strongly believe that migration and immigration are a net good for the country. And here in the Midwest, immigrants didn't "take our jobs," the companies sent them overseas.
