Or maybe just read the report from Biden's physical where it explained that movement disorder specialists exactly like Dr. Cannard were added to Biden's team in 2021? They literally link this report in the story ... and then never bothered to read it beyond searching for the word "Parkinsons."

There’s an unending stream of programs that promise to do for education what could be accomplished with feeding kids, adding student mental health resources, and paying teachers more than you do IT managers.
In an April speech promoting the software, he [Alberto Carvalho, the district’s superintendent] promised it would “democratize” and “transform education.” In response to skeptics of A.I., he asked, “Why not allow this edutainment approach to capture & captivate their attention, be the motivator?” 🙃
A.I. ‘Friend’ for Public School Students Falls Flatwww.nytimes.com Los Angeles schools hired a start-up to build an A.I. chatbot for parents and students. A few months later, the company collapsed.

Mask mandates also have pretty low compliance rates. Again, I’m not against masking and I often mask when the numbers are high but preventing waves has to include more boosters and more testing, plus we need ventilation and sick leave in general

Trump is a rapist, convicted thief, liar, and literal fucking traitor who colluded with Russia and tried to overthrow the government. Let’s maybe focus on that!

The thing about taking statutory interpretation away from the agencies is that Congress actually has power over those agencies, but does not have power over the Court. It’s power grab in the guise of helping; it’s “helping” in a paternalistic, condescending, unchecked manner.

The Democratic Party’s reaction to their candidate having a bad debate substantially outpaces the Republican Party’s reaction to their candidate being convicted of multiple felonies, held liable for rape, and owing judgments in the hundreds of millions for defamation and fraud.

I'm learning from all the takes about the future of the race but a lot of you seem to have forgotten that debates matter primarily insofar as they affect media coverage. If Biden gets out there and does some good interviews and public events (a big if, for sure) none of this really matters.

They are roughly the same age. Just stop. For crying out loud. This feels like a desperation grab along the lines of the immigrant caravan. Got an election or an important political moment? LET'S TALK AGE. Just. Stop.

hello? @nytimes.com please don't normalize the idea of making wild birds "pets"...and hiking with unleashed dogs (I would bet this is frowned upon in Los Angeles parks?) for crying out loud, this man is so privileged it's gross www.nytimes.com/2024/06/19/u...
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Conspiracy of Ravenswww.nytimes.com The presidential candidate keeps two of the free-minded birds as wild pets. They’re much better behaved than his old emu, Toby, who would attack his wife, Cheryl Hines.

Yes, if you don’t like the choice between Trump and Biden, think of it as picking between Stephen Miller and Pete Buttigieg, Steve Bannon and Deb Haaland, Michael Flynn and Lina M. Khan, Alex Jones and Jessica Rosenworcel, or Brett Kavanaugh and Ketanji Brown Jackson. Both sides are not “the same”
Some reduce the 2024 campaign to a contest between two old men, but it's a choice of two slates of federal appointees who'll impact your life in a million ways. Biden has staffed executive agencies with excellent choices who are doing good work. Trump will empower an army of Stephen Millers.

I find it interesting that our popular understanding of how slavery ended in this country is framed around seemingly peaceful announcements: a proclamation (1863), an announcement in TX (1865), and an amendment (1865). We should, however, never forget the years of bloodshed that made it possible. 🗃️
