I'm beginning to suspect that there are simply no rich and famous dudes who are okay. The combo of wealth and fame is so utterly detrimental to a human mind that once they converge on a man, the brain damage almost certainly follows.

New York Times editor: I bet that young man would bring a fresh new perspective to the editorial page!
This is the tradcath weirdo whom the @nytimes.com is publishing to tell you not to vote. You should not listen to him. Instead, you should shove his ass into a locker and burn the entire campus containing said locker to the ground. (The campus is Hillsdale)

This is only true until the check clears and the Federalist Society Six announce that the President is entitled to “prima nocta” sexual activities due to the established precedent of Mel Gibson v Longshanks

Didn’t even need to click through to guess the author’s race an gender. Do you what you want, fucker. But too many people got savaged by dogs, blasted with fire hoses, and hung from trees to get me into the voting booth for me to ever opt out.

Who do I talk to if I think the New York Times editorial board should step aside for the good of the country?

CPR classes, Stop the Bleed classes, and other higher order medical training emphasize one thing initially. If you feel yourself getting wound up, check yourself. Pay attention to your heart rate and your breathing. That intentional act can keep you and others from reacting badly, making it worse.
I'm saying that IN A CRISIS (and we're all in a crisis folks) you don't listen to the person losing their shit, or you die. You don't listen to the person screaming about fire regulations when the building is BURNING AROUND YOU. You need to use DISCERNMENT.

My sweet mans, who lost his other Mom last year and had to come live with us, got accepted into the UF study for feline diabetes! I’m so happy. I know they’ll give him the best care and I could definitely use the support.

I graduated from UNC thirty years ago and it feels like every year since I’ve had to watch as Republicans in the state legislature strip it for parts, like cheap crooks stealing copper wiring off a construction site.
When I was growing up, North Carolina had among the best public universities in the country. Now the UNC system is dismantling programs and quelling student dissent.

My favorite aspect of 90’s liberals are their good intentions and how they would cut welfare and lock lots of people in jail

DeBlasio made some vague noises in the direction of holding the NYPD accountable and they immediately kidnapped his daughter and publicly threatened her and that was the end of that this is the single most instructive example of the modern mayor-cop dynamic and no mayor is immune
It doesn't really excuse stuff like this but we should probably acknowledge that big police departments could, and most would, murder sitting politicians and get away with it, and this impacts every city budget.

Kinda crazy that artificial intelligence needs the entire output of a nuclear reactor but actual intelligence can run on Twix bars and cocaine, for example.

I cannot believe that people get on this app and argue that there is no genocidal intent meanwhile the literal official account of the state of Israel is like- “there are no innocent civilians”
