When my kid gets mowed down in the crosswalk by a drunk driver with a suspended license going twice the speed limit, it'll be comforting, to me, to know that the state didn't do anything to unduly control the driver's behavior.

It's some sort of JST connector. Measure the spacing to find the correct one (it'll be in millimeters). One of the pins is going to be DC + and the other DC -. If you have a multimeter you can probably figure out which one it is by measuring the voltage of the battery.

There's so much crazy stuff around sports gambling already, but "people feel entitled to always win their big sports bets, to the point where the harass athletes who have literally zero interest in their bets" is just beyond bonkers to me.

One of the greatest/most depressing art exhibits I ever saw was someone in like 2002 who Photoshopped out the people from online amateur porn photos.

An underrated aspect of the current atmosphere of furious dudes yelling at anyone and everything that they notice is that these guys are just raw-dogging their mental health crisis. It's enormously destructive, but also doesn't seem like a sustainable political movement.

This guy, who liked to call himself “America’s Most Dangerous Dad,” had been going nuts in his local district, suing teachers and administrators, calling them “sexual predators” and “groomers” etc. In the end, the man claiming Maine public schools destroys families decided to destroy his own
