For those who were (productively, no shade) pushing back yesterday on the idea that the intellectually consistent position was that if Biden steps down from the campaign he should step down as president too, mainstreaming a 25th amendment argument is not about adjusting campaign strategy.

Viewing this conversation from my perch out here in Oregon, I’m starting to wonder if someone dosed the water in the east coast communities where liberal journalists and pundits live.

Democrats need to get a fucking grip and stop this nonsense. Time to rally around Joe Biden and beat Trump!

Whatever you think about Biden, look at the New York Times. They are unabashedly cheerleading for him to drop out. We should never again think of the Times as a liberal or even a neutral paper. The NYT takes sides when they want to. When they don't take a side, that's a choice.
