I just did an entire segment, 10 minutes ago, talking in detail about Project 2025 on MSNBC. But hey, thanks for the heads up
Republicans want to eliminate the civil service, ban critical thinking and create an industry where poor brown women produce children for white evangelical families to adopt and brainwash. But yeah, also, what you said.

I’ve had Nigerians mad at me for not getting the “Nigerian prince scam” reference and I’ve had Indians jump on a joke about Vivek, but the Irish are making a strong showing in the contest for humorless scolds today
It’s always fun to see a joke tweet rile up idiots, but this one surprised me. I’d always thought the Irish understood humor

As a side note, this is John McEntee, Trump's Director of White House Personnel and the primary architect of Project 2025. On Tik Tok he said he gives counterfeit bills to homeless people so they will be arrested when they go to spend them.

When you call ABC and say "Look, we want to do an interview to reassure the country about the president's age and fitness," you can't cry foul later that the questions were about age and fitness and that "Yes, I am fit" is not an answer.
It was just an interview in which George spent 23 minutes attempting to get a gotchya moment. GS: Question about Biden being old and how it effects his fitness to be President. JB: Great answer about Biden being Presidential. GS: “I understand that, but what about you being old?”

Tonight's interview wasn't a gaffe, but it sure wasn't good
Unless Joe has another major gaffe, there's no way another Dem could step in and hope to win. Joe's campaign and the party know this. Trump is a train wreck. Project 2025 is scaring people. Let them continue to destroy GOP.

Wall to wall coverage of Trump could maybe - MAYBE - drive his polls down a bit. But if Biden is not perceived by a handful of voters in 4 states and don't vote, then coverage doesn't matter, and so far, Biden's self-inflicted wound isn't closing up
"The fact that we're going to hold Joe Biden to one standard and Donald Trump to another, which is really no standard at all." - @JoeNBC on The New York Times et al.

Instead, they stealth-edited the title.
Man, if it turns out that the right winger telling NY Times readers that they should follow his example and not vote did in fact vote in the last two elections, the Times should add this to the piece. Better than a retraction, since it illustrates a willful hypocrisy.

Keeping Trump out of the White House isn’t the only thing that needs doing and it isn’t enough to solve all problems facing the country & world but if it isn’t done then all those problems get exponentially worse in ways I don’t even know how to express and it scares me when people pretend otherwise

For some years, my former colleagues on the right tried to argue that I had brain worms if I would break a friendship or even a close relationship over Trumpism. I replaced "trump" with "david duke" and asked them to reconsider. That usually ended the discussions.
Classic American political dialogue is premised on the idea that we share fundamental values but disagree on how best to promote them. I haven’t believed this for a while. Other than “I prefer to be alive and not dead” and “I like pudding,” I do not share values with these people.

But using the military within the US to kill US citizens (let alone rivals) is not a core constitutional function of the executive, is it? Only using military force abroad would be.

The 14th Amendment says if you were involved in an insurrection you can't be president. SCOTUS said they won't allow anyone to enforce that because of reasons they made up. The Constitution doesn't say the president is immune from criminal law. SCOTUS decided he is because of reasons they made up.
