The majority of skeets here are performative. Most Bskyers are more interested in reposting with a quasi-clever observation than simply replying to engage in conversation with the OP. Sad.

When a person can't admit they're wrong, it's a sign of weakness and insecurity. I think that goes double for a fucking newspaper. The NYT, once the 'paper of record', has been reduced to posting like a racist aunt forced to change one word in their post to avoid a Facebook ban.

Some great people work in other parts of the paper, and in the editorial section I like some columnists (tho they're not on the editorial board, so maybe moot), but the NYT politics desk has fervently and with complete consistency worked to elect Republicans the 30+ years I've been paying attention.
