Ppl are retweeting this and I just want to add that faxing is THE most annoying thing to do to your representatives. There are websites where you can fax for a small fee and those machines are LOUD and then at the very least they have to deal with all the print outs.

Being really annoying is praxis. Phone, email, fax, show up in person if that’s an option. Just don’t let up until you’re too irritating to ignore.

I’ve been reminding myself of this poem more and more recently.

it's really annoying that any time something else terrible happens in the US due to our government/whatever, there are people who are in a rush to be like "why are you surprised???" as though it's a contest to be the most jaded possible person about how terrible all of our lives are. don't do this

Man, I just can’t get over how good Interview With The Vampire is. The finale yesterday legit made my jaw drop twice and I don’t remember the last time a show actually did that. Usually I rewatch the episodes almost immediately, but I’ve had to sit and chew on that finale, because DAMN.

I’ve been thinking about our understandable despair a lot lately. Let’s reframe: My outrage at systemic violence and calamity is an extension of my love and joy. But I *live* rooted in love and joy. This joyful life is the best apocalypse I’ve ever had. And that’s why I will always fight for it.

At least they let us know it’s pointless in time to enjoy our last summer I guess. Oh wait no Gaza is murdered, the planet is murdered, the poor are murdered, everything is murder, death is the only sweetness that awaits.

Trump called him “a bad Palestinian” and Biden merely shook his head. More than 35,000 people in Gaza killed, far more irreparably harmed, and Biden who has funded their annihilation didn’t even rebuke this ludicrous, racist slander. The problem is not Biden’s stutter. The problem is who he is.

From a man known to have a speech impediment. Literally a disability that makes forming clear words more difficult than it is for most of us. That’s the thing so-called “progressives” are now mad at him for? Having a speech disability? We’ve known he has one all along.

Rewatched ‘O Brother, Where Art Thou” the other day and it got me in the mood to return to RDR2 for a bit. I will forever adore how this game is so content to let you have quiet, slow moments.

Every time I have to hear some variation of “he’s friendly!” as an off-leash dog runs at me and my leashed one takes another year off my life.

I see that the Foo Fighters just kicked off their UK tour, so it's time to drag out my "Why I Hate Dave Grohl" thread. TL;DR: The Foo Fighters funded AIDS denialist groups from 1999-2007 that lobbied to deny people life-saving medication. They have never acknowledged the deaths they caused.
