Me, this summer and every summer.

My brain decided this is the hour for the Litany: I am a failure and have no future and no talents and I want to get a PhD so it looks like I've achieved something when in reality I'm a waste of education and opportunities. Brain needs to go to jail for one thousand year.

Every time I pet Weency, little clouds of fur float away. But will she let me brush her? Of course not, she's saving all her shedding for important things, obviously.

I have to take this damned Creative Process class *again* because my last prof never turned in grades before the school closed. Third time's a charm? I hope?

For Disability Pride Month, one thing I'd love abled bodied people to figure out is how to speak to someone with chronic health issues without implying that if they themselves had the disabled person's health conditions, they would end it all. I promise you life goes on- even with health issues.

This hurricane season is already breaking records. Beryl is the 2nd hurricane to reach category 5 in July in recorded history. The last was in 2005, and only achieved category 5 on 17 July. Strangely, 2005 is not a hurricane season that's remembered fondly here.

Pride BEGAN during a time of anti-sodomy laws. The first Pride was a riot against those laws. Pride is celebrated around the world in places where it is much more dangerous to be queer than here. Pride is not dependent on being ALLOWED to be who we are, it’s a promise that we WILL be no matter what

I hope we all enjoyed our last Pride month in the US. Project 2025 will put an end to it
