My daughter wants to be a pilot, and my wife just sent me this photo of her in the cockpit of their flight home! She's never going to stop talking about this.
for a second i did not notice the little blurred face on the right and i thought you were saying your daughter was the person on the left and i was like what the fuck you are much older than i thought lmfao
(this is so cute i love it)
And now I’m being mansplained on the true meaning here. But actually, I stand by my original statement. There are precious few female pilots and it’s especially cool that a little girl who wants to be a pilot got to meet a role model.
Interestingly, mansplaining dude did not feel compelled to make the same point to a man whose reply said virtually the same thing.
Hmmm 🤔, I feel as if there’s a word for this.
My sister is a pilot. She got an ROTC scholarship to Stanford and got her degree and applied for a pilot training and was accepted. She was in the Air Force for 8 years and now flies commercially. It was a great career path.
Nor should she ever stop talking about it. Talking about airplanes is the best thing to talk about. You will really know if she has the pilot genetic defect if she always looks up for any airplane she hears flying overhead. Bet the Captain does.
This is so wonderful! If there's an airfield near you I recommend going there with your daughter to watch people take off and land and work on their planes. Pilots love to talk about their planes, especially when they're talking to little kids!
Coach, not only is that the ultimate DAWWW picture of super-cuteness, I'd like to applaud your thoughtfulness for blurring out her face - I think that's the only way to go in this weird era. The original is definitely on a mantle in a frame by now, innit? Or soon will be?
