Unhoused person slain at national gathering of political party tied to Supreme Court justices who just criminalized living unhoused.
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel confirms that a Columbus, Ohio, police officer detailed to the RNC shot and killed a homeless Black man (earlier reported to be in his early 20s) more than half a mile from the RNC arena. The man was known by the nickname Jehovah and took care of a pit bull named Isis.

It is the headline that's the problem, not the article. As the subhead more precisely notes, it is about "election-watching scientists" which those people are.

PSA: Don't grab a stranger's wheelchair. I was sitting in mine in the disabled section at the theater and other theatergoers kept grabbing my back handlebar en route to their own seats, like as public infrastructure. I am not a railing for strangers. I didn't expect how uncomfortable that'd be!
