I am far from a great ally but as a baby-queer bi cis guy I just want to say that you are consistently my favorite part of my feed. And Sophie and Lauren Blousfeld all the way back to Wendy Carlos - as a musician, as a human, you’ve all given me so much, and I’m so sorry our world is so shit to you.

It maybe feels gross & transactional to say it this way, too, because you don’t owe us ANY of these things I love - you deserve to just to exist and be happy in the world. But - I’ll do my best to try to stand up for that right. And again… I’m so sorry, this is shitty and you deserve so much better.

The only advice I’d give the Biden campaign is to go to war with the NYT. They’re even less popular than Biden or Trump, would form a good rallying cry, and reframes the campaign to be an underdog attempt to push good policy against elites who don’t want it. “NYT is for the billionaires, we’re not.”
