to whoever needs to hear it: no one is so talented that they can treat or speak to you in a disrespectful or demeaning manner. no one.

Of course you barf in a bowl, how else would you scry it for portents

(I was raised to use a lined mini trash can if I couldn’t make it to the toilet, though it hasn’t come up in a while)

I am also generally pretty indifferent to not being in a relationship but admit I do feel it when I’m laid up in bed, being baby, and no one’s around to bring me stuff or hear me complain

I am Heat Safety Awareness Guy in all my friend groups to the point of being annoying about it, but I got caught dehydrated on a really hot train commute for a couple of hours this morning and have taken basically all day to recover, it is no fuckin joke out there

look - I'm receptive to both "no, it's gotta be him" arguments and "he's gotta step aside" arguments. not to be wishy-washy but both arguments have merit. "then we do a tourney" is OTOH flatly hilarious. yeah that'll go great. there will much much unity in the wake of the electoral deathmatch

Something I am struggling with: cruelty, in all its forms, appeals to a whole hell of a lot of people. There’s not much to the GOP apart from vulgar cruelty and still they’re viable basically everywhere. No hope, no message, no answers… just stepping on vulnerable people for the thrill of it.

If a fashion thing appeals to you even though it’s off-trend, that’s an indicator of personal style/taste and imo 30+s are generally better off leaning into that than trying to look 22. If you don’t really care but already own the pants and don’t want to get different ones, that’s fine too

Some Millennials in my timeline are insecure because Gen Zs are telling them their ankle socks age them. I can't stress enough that you don't need to care about what a bunch of 20-somethings think about your clothes, mainly bc you don't have to care about what ANYONE thinks about your clothes.

(If you need new pants for whatever reason and can’t find the kind you like because it’s off-trend, I sympathize)

Saw an oversized black-and-red vending machine for a Licorice Dot Com in a row of airport vending machines for sim cards and stuff and figured this was a catchy name for a non-licorice product or service but it appears to be premium licorice. Trend watch licorice I guess
