With the exception of certain career updates, I don't typically cross-post from one social media to the others, mostly because I use them all for slightly different things. And also, I just find cross-posting generally not fun. Also, absolutely, block for whatever reason you want.

I didn't see @scalzi.com cross-post this here, but thought I throw the screencap up on here, with the added kicker that, if there's any collective lesson we learned in our experience in The Bad Place, is that you just need to unapologetically block, block, block anyone that you don't vibe with.

Horseshoe crabs may look kinda like trilobites, but their close relatives are the sea scorpions (extinct) and arachnids. There is never any shame in using the library, and much benefit in doing so. They are the closest thing to an unmitigated social good that we have in these United States, which is why the hard right is gunning so fervently for them these days. A world without libraries and librarians is a poor one.

My book-buying budget is not what it once was, which is precisely why I’m using the library more. It also gives me the opportunity to read books that I’m not sure I want to add to the home library (not that there’s a lot of room to do that anyway).

No. No, I don't think I buy that sticker. Nor anything else now...
