A total ban is the only sane policy for Airbnb. There obviously needs to be accommodation in cities for visitors, but that shouldn’t be at the expense of housing units for people who actually live there. More governments should follow Barcelona’s lead.

The only reason it took 9 years for TX to be annexed was bc of northern opposition (ironically, there were threats from Massachusetts to secede if TX became part of the US!). The reason TX whites wanted independence from Mexico in the first place was bc Mexico abolished slavery in 1829.

I love it when a prescription is like 800 dollars but the doctor tells you about a secret ritual you can do where you go to a website and download a pdf that looks like a car wash flyer, and you show it to the pharmacist and all of a sudden it's like 18 dollars. Everything is fake and stupid.
