Seattle! Today I found out that King County has a mobile team that will come to your house and vaccinate you for Covid and Flu shots if you have a disability!! I just talked to them and it’s a free program and they are taking names for the waitlist for when the new vaccine becomes available

I am simultaneously excited and a little bit terrified to begin data analysis on around 300 survey responses. So. Much. Data. This is sincerely a good thing, and I'm grateful to everyone who participated. I'm also still in a bit of shock at this number.

a kinda remarkable thing i heard on ezra klein's podcast was Walz *literally* saying that free school meals are important bc "the inequal distribution of domestic labor still falls heavily on women." it's completely correct but someone that looks like him proactively bringing it up blew my mind

My kid’s school does free lunch and breakfast and it is a godsend for those of us who also start work early and are already juggling a million other things. Statistically, the burden of doing things like this falls disproportionately on women even when they also work.

My health has become a serious struggle recently, so as a comfort I've returned to Thedas to collect elfroot. Thank goodness for Dragon Age.
