(10/10) Leopold died before justice found him, but Alice Seeley Harris lived 90 years and spent much of it telling and retelling the stories of the Congolese. Her willingness to confront it and to force others to through her photos saved millions. One woman with a camera demanding that people look.

I've never understood why hotels give you soap, shampoo, conditioner, a shower cap, access to a hair dryer, an ironing board, a bible in case you decide to convert sometime during your stay, but when it comes to something as normal and universal as toothpaste they're like WHAT NO BRING IT YOURSELF

One of the first things you learn as a lawyer in front of a judge is NEVER SAY ANYTHING REMOTELY NEGATIVE ABOUT COURT STAFF. Even the most thick-skinned judge will skin you alive if you slightly imply their clerk might have done something wrong.
