The entire game of making right wingers “patriots” and liberals “America haters” is about gerrymandering what you’re allowed to be proud of in American history and what counts as hatred. Pride in The New Deal doesn’t count and hatred of immigrants and America’s largest cities doesn’t count either.

I'm not sure why people think American voters won't do this? We literally just did in 2020 when voters turned out in record numbers to kick Donald Trump to the curb. And it's been happening in states where abortion is on the line. Why are we acting like American voters haven't done & won't do this?

I really wish people in the DSA etc would realize that the Democrats will assume (probably correctly) that you would not vote for them anyway when you threaten to not vote given that the opponent is literally planning an authoritarian Christo fascist regime and so that is not an effective tactic
