After decades of writing, I’m ok on basic grammar and usage. But my brain refuses to learn the uses of ‘affect’ vs ‘effect.’ C’mon brain, I’ve looked this up 700 times. Time to retain this shit.

Listening to a media criticism pod and it is so frustrating that the Biden team + enablers essentially lied about his capacities all this time. I heard so many people say 'he's great in person', 'really sharp in meetings', etc. It contributes to the feeling that everything in American life is a scam

The fact that Fox News is leading with "Biden is old" instead of "Major Trump win at the Supreme Court" makes me wonder if this might be unpopular even among the MAGA crowd, which (theoretically?) leans more "Trump is our king" but also "gov't out of our business".
