i think there's a lot to criticize about Dem message discipline but the rules at the NYT changed kind of dramatically and suddenly to "a single on-background quote from basically any Dem is enough to peg an entire new story about Biden's age to" and idk how you control that basically

Yes and no. If Trump loses his supporters will simply not believe it’s true and will immediately start donating to “legal defense funds” that will file innumerable suits to “save America.” There will also probably be sporadic acts of political violence.

Finished reading David Austin Walsh’s fabulous new book. It filled in a number of gaps in my understanding of the modern conservative movement and introduced me to a number of new and disturbing characters. The chapter on McCarthy alone was worth the price of the book. 🗃️

I have no idea the best path re Biden but I do know a solid week straight of “Biden Old” and “Rich Dems Worried” above-the-fold stories are *obscene* in the face of SCOTUS using the Constitution to wipe their asses purely in the service of reinstating a felon rapist as president.
