Since this point keeps getting missed: the SCOTUS ruling wasn’t just about immunity; they ruled that *evidence* from his time in the White House may be inadmissible. The ruling potentially affects every case against him, state and federal, regardless of when the criminal act itself occurred.

We've now reached 200 death row exonerations. Meanwhile, the state with the most (Florida) is pushing to limit appeals, carry out executions more quickly, allow death sentences from non-unanimous juries, and impose the death penalty for crimes other than homicide.

I’d like to hear the lawyers chime in on this. Not only does today’s decision confer broad immunity, it also makes a wide swath of Trump’s conversations in office inadmissible as evidence. I fear that every case against Trump is now at risk to at least some extent, including his NY conviction.

I think people should likely take a breath... again. None of the things that Trump is currently indicted for were official acts. The ruling specifies that there is "some" immunity, but none for unofficial acts. All this did was delay the trial... We still have to beat his ass but then he's toast.
