I think it's becoming clear that Trump can't do anything (even nearly dying) to change his vote ceiling, but Biden has the ability to keep pushing his own up This is Biden's election to lose, not Trump's to win

OMG fucking Katy Tur(d) is falling all over herself about Trump's 'different tone' and just said that Trump looks so 'serene' and it's like no that's a man who's been doped up because he fears for his life now when he goes out in front of a crowd

Wear a mask. Even if you just start popping one on at the store, on the metro, in meetings at work, at your job when someone else is in a mask. Any additional masking slows the spread and makes it more possible for people like me to be in public places. You don't have to be perfect, every bit helps.
New today: CDC now estimates that SARS-CoV-2 levels in wastewater have reached "high" levels nationwide, for first time since past winter wave At state level, 26 now have COVID-19 levels that are "high" or "very high" in wastewater www.cdc.gov/nwss/rv/COVI...

Clarence Thomas took $267,000 from a health insurance executive, then issued rulings that made health insurance companies more money, while harming millions of Americans. This is a bribe. This isn’t complicated. Expand the Supreme Court. www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...

So, while everyone is returning to their corners preparing for the next round of very important Biden discourse, Trump is meeting with Orban who is coming directly from a meeting with Putin. Cool, guys. Very cool.

Donald Trump -- the inveterate pervert who made a point to address the Boy Scout Jamboree with inappropriate, adult discussion topics -- now aims to destroy the Scouts' much-beloved Northern Tier High Adventure camp. Disgusting enemy of America and Americana.
Very unfun fact: Project 2025 specifically names Minnesota's Boundary Waters Canoe Area and wants to remove its protected status and open it up to mining. This is the future Donald John Trump wants.

So, Mick Mulvaney, Trump's former chief of staff who wrote this absurd, humiliating garbage, this all-time faceplant - is he ridiculed in the street and laughed at in cocktail parties on the Hill? Silly you, he's now a paid contributor for @cbsnews.

FUN WITH LOGIC So the President now has immunity in connection with official acts. The President swears an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. So Biden directs that the SCROTUS 6 be arrested and immediately executed because they violated the Constitution...

Idk if I'm stating the obvious, but justices never write/speak like this. She's telling the world this is a five-alarm fire and the coup is on.
As Justice Elena Kagan wrote in her dissent last Friday, “The majority disdains restraint, and grasps for power” — and the justices are “making a laughing-stock” of long-standing judicial principles. www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...
The Supreme Court Is a Joke. It’s Not Funnywww.rollingstone.com The justices accidentally, repeatedly referenced laughing gas in a disastrous ruling before declaring that judges know better than agency regulators.

DC remembers. Trust me.
June 1, 2020 In one of the most notorious days of the Trump presidency, police suddenly advanced on peaceful protesters in Lafayette Park across from the White House, clearing them away with batons, flash-bangs and tear gas. Trump then strode through the park and held up a bible for photographers.

So we should have allowed Trump to escape accountability so Republicans could keep their embrace of lawlessness on the down-low? Bragg’s the bad guy bc he made those who favor power over law say that openly? This sort of centrism feels like an illness.
interesting, how do we slice up the blame pie on this one. my blame pie isn’t cut up at all, i just hand it to the republican party. the people that did this thing.

The second horrific year of the Trump administration I was reading Delirious New York, a book about Coney Island by Rem Koolhaus, and when I got to the part about the wanton destruction of the city's fabulous theme parks, there was a photo of Trump and his dad, who turned them into slums.
I always knew if anything finally got him it would be New York. Long memories and plenty of chutzpah.
