Just left a round of phone messages for my electeds asking them to get their people in order and stop acting like inept clowns with all the leaks, gossip, and hysteria four effing months before the election because some op-eds made them nervous. Some message discipline, please!

Why do we need op-eds asking Trump to step down? Imagine a person not into politics, an undecided, scrolling the last few days and occasionally seeing articles about Biden stepping down. But none about Trump. They're gonna think, 'Hunh, Biden must've done something really bad.' That's a problem.

It’s hard not to see the election media coverage as a performance of, for, and by a very specific set of people who ostensibly spend their days trying to understand the motivations of The Common Person but who really just want to dictate to them how they should feel and act.

They both failed their mental acuity checks*. Also, competent Dem operatives would be saying Trump sounds like he has dementia, not pissing themselves in public. *Biden really is fine, but you can't show up with a cold and sound sick & frail when you've failed to dent the age narrative for months.
