The 14th Amendment says if you were involved in an insurrection you can't be president. SCOTUS said they won't allow anyone to enforce that because of reasons they made up. The Constitution doesn't say the president is immune from criminal law. SCOTUS decided he is because of reasons they made up.

Our media is fully corrupted and there is no hope that we can expect them to ask such questions. They are Putin's puppets. I was serious when I said earlier that Biden should declare Fox News, et al, as Russian propaganda, declare them terrorists, and throw them all I'm Guantanamo.

WE DO NOT HAVE TO ACCEPT THIS. The MAGA Court is just some Trumped up human beings in robes who think they're divine. They've betrayed their oaths to uphold the Constitution. This is plain.

This is the ball game folks, the authoritarian green light laid out in advance. Congress will not impeach Trump. And SCOTUS now blesses him with extraordinary latitude to do whatever he wants in power. A second administration will not be constrained by Congress, the courts, the bureaucracy or law.

Throwing ones hands in the air and giving up is a very Democrat move. These are the same people who were fine with Pelosi's laissez faire attitude towards impeaching and removing Trump.

I really have lost my former tolerance for "we're doomed/fucked/it's all over/they've won" takes at this point, in that they're the most dangerous attitudes one could possibly have when confronted with a truly existential political threat (which we still DO have levers to address).

Question: After SCOTUS ruling, can Biden now order DOJ to prosecute Manchin/Sinema on trumped up charges if they refuse to vote to end the filibuster and appoint four new justices? Wouldn't order to DOJ be absolutely immune, and wouldn't threat to the senators be at minimum presumptively immune?

Wasn't the whole point of the US that they didn't want to be ruled by a mad king?

So now Joe Biden can officially act and have the rogue traitors on the Supreme Court arrested, sent to Guantanamo for 'holding' and put Trump in prison for treason and insurrection. It would be done with full immunity and there's nothing the GOP can do to stop it.
