If you paid attention to Trump's side of the debate, he had the same underlying problem Biden did, where over and over he would start a sentence and realize he couldn't say or remember the words that would come next, but where Biden stalled out, Trump just switched to blurting something unrelated

Donald Trump has good days and bad days but increasingly only bad days. He's lost it - he can't focus and his brains are leaking out his ears, but the press is very impressed with him because HE CAN STILL SHOUT

Not voting is a vote for 45. Third party vote is a vote for 45. Voting for 45 is a vote to put me in a camp. Biden sucks, absolutely. But he's not going to put me in a camp. Biden will actually let us vote again in 2028.

Yeah. Blocking me because I said maybe trans people in the US are maybe more imminently at risk of death than jewish people right now is an absolutely well reasoned response. For what it’s worth, I know antisemitism is still alive and a problem. I sympathise entirely and think it needs addressing

I’m seeing so many people in the US talking about ‘the long term’ when it comes to the SCOTUS ruling yesterday. Your ‘long term’ is roughly 5 months. That’s it. If you don’t actually change something by then, you’re out of time.

Pride BEGAN during a time of anti-sodomy laws. The first Pride was a riot against those laws. Pride is celebrated around the world in places where it is much more dangerous to be queer than here. Pride is not dependent on being ALLOWED to be who we are, it’s a promise that we WILL be no matter what

I hope we all enjoyed our last Pride month in the US. Project 2025 will put an end to it

The Court has purported to strip us of all legal recourse for crimes committed by the most powerful person in the nation. Each and every one of us is now, effectively, at the mercy of an autocrat, who could order our death if he simply made the pretense of connecting it to his official duties.

Criminal law probably functioned as some kind of deterrent on abuses of presidential power, and that deterrent is now gone. But even if that weren't true, today's ruling would be an appalling display of contempt for the American people and for the basic principles on which this country rests.
