To the extent that anybody involved in these schemes is employed, their job is mostly to forward ludicrous schemes from major donors to their contacts at Axios
There ain’t gonna be a blitz primary. The biggest evidence this will all blow over is the biggest proponents seem to think they’re writing a prestige drama and not planning for another candidate.

This is super important work. And it looks like it's actually having an effect. Normal people learn about Project 2025 and are scared as shitless as they should be. The Nation, The New Republic, Rolling Stone, Boston Review and others are doing the work that NYT and WaPo are neglecting.
We need more, but credit where due: both The Nation (June 2024 issue) and Boston Review have run a breakdown of the Project 2025 “Mandate for Leadership” document. Media Matters, too. Lots of good work going on digesting this. www.bostonreview.net/articles/ins... www.mediamatters.org/project-2025

If this resonates with you as an expert in your field, please feel free to hit me up on how to pitch an op-ed to MSNBC dot com
Where are the columnists who are experts in specific fields, breaking down what the Heritage Foundation + Trump want to do to each individual federal agency? E.g. I read the section dedicated to our intelligence agencies, and had to stop, since I was starting to feel a little nauseous.

Sulzberger and the New York Times political desk are engaged in an interesting experiment, to wit: whether it’s possible for a newspaper to direct the outcome of a campaign and election through sheer, relentless posting

Read all about it somewhere other than @nytimes.com
Stephen Miller now following Trump's lead and saying he has nothing to do with Project 2025. 1. His organization is on the Project 2025 advisory board. 2. He recorded a video as part of Project 2025 training tools 3. You can see Mandate for Leadership, the Project 2025 publication in the background

Can someone tell me where NYT hid Trump's attempts to disown Heritage's fascist project? I mean, holy hell, that's the only reporting on Trump they do anymore?

Thanks largely to Biden and the Democratic party there is now a kind of global race to get to the mass, chear carbon-free energy. We're going to hit peak global emissions (fingers crossed) this year or next. We're deploying solar at a level that blowing away every single prediction.

new york times columnists do not get to tell you what to do. fuck these people, they hope you'll apply to clean their toilets at less than prevailing wage and on a 1099. everyone telling you not to vote for joe biden is doing so because they want to stick their hands in your pockets.
here's the other thing about this: i have no real power to determine this, and neither do you. but i would walk through hell barefoot and back again to vote for a democratic corpse before i'd ever consider a) not voting, or b) voting for donald trump. this matters to me, it should matter to you.

This is reasons 1-3 why I'm all in on Biden rn
It seems undeniable that Heritage et al. are going to use every line in the rule book (and several that don't exist) to try and strike any replacement from the ballot in eg OH/TX/WI, and my faith in them getting stopped is strictly constrained by my faith in the Roberts/Kacsmaryk judiciary

There are serious, non-trivial risks to threading the needle this year. Are they showstoppers? Usually no, but in a year where everything legal is up for grabs the fact reporters are not keeping these issues front and center is incredibly irresponsible.
Yeah, the legacy media doesn't talk about the legal issues with the campaign monies nor do they talk about how the Heritage Foundation wants to hamstring the Dems in court if Biden were to drop out.l www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol... So damn glad I didn't get that Bachelor of Journalism in 1982.
Right-Wingers Plan to Make it Difficult for Democrats to Replace Bidenwww.rollingstone.com If Democrats want to choose a new nominee, experts don’t believe the Heritage Foundation can stop them — but that may not be the point.

Man, if it turns out that the right winger telling NY Times readers that they should follow his example and not vote did in fact vote in the last two elections, the Times should add this to the piece. Better than a retraction, since it illustrates a willful hypocrisy.
He voted in both 2020 and 2022.

It’s maddening to see skepticism of ejecting Biden treated like cultish loyalty. Some of us have been out here saying Biden’s too old for years. The problem is that what is being proposed is a shocking, almost unheard-of remedy, and every historic precedent tells us it’ll end in catastrophe.

Sticking with Biden or running Harris would be *far* less risky than dedicating two of the next four months to Democrat infighting, followed by an unprecedented delegate voting process and dubious chances of even getting on the ballot. Knowing this shit is supposed to be these people's job

So I feel like this is exactly the kind of thing I was talking about when I posted this last night. 1-3 were intended to get at the idea that people would, unless they were specific on the record, find any reason they could to shift the goalposts.
Is 15-20 minutes a typical length for a presidential interview? Well, yes, The Daily Beast concedes, but that shouldn’t count this time because they’ve decided it shouldn’t count.

if you did not know that the president now has unlimited authority to order the ATF or DHS or the FBI to execute your best friend for any reason and can then order the DOJ not to prosecute then, you can blame every fucking columnist who has written a piece about biden’s age since monday
SCOTUS enabled an imperial presidency that is indistinguishable from a kingship and did so in a way that, if he wins, *will not be undone without buckets of fucking blood* in our lifetime. you’re not hearing about that, but you should, and you should be fucking murderously angry that you aren’t.
