Let's be clear, when mayors say they want to ban masks for "safety", they couldn't care less about public safety. What the mean is they want to see faces for surveillance purposes. They care about criminalizing your right to protest not your health or safety.

I've been thinking about this a bunch lately watching my kiddo and his friends and the way different parents treat their kids. I do my best to do it right, and I know I get it wrong sometimes, but I'm trying, and trying to learn to be better, all the time.

Parenting teenagers is an interesting and difficult process that requires stepping back and allowing the person you created and raised to start making their own decisions and being their own person. It's really hard to go from deciding everything to letting go and they decide but a necessary step.1/
