Dear assholes who find this acceptable, Question your assumption that mobility issue = less mentally capable. One of the reasons people with MS refuse to use mobility aids is the embarrassment that stems from that assumption. Also get fucked.
IMO this is a straight-up ageist and ableist image, no?

Mitch McConnell offers an object lesson for all the Republicans who think they can tame this tiger -- even if you do everything in your power to advance Trump's agenda and sabotage two different impeachment trials that would remove him, the Felon Messiah King will still demand your head.
Presidential candidate who the far-right members of the Supreme Court just placed above the law tells voters how he will exercise his new powers.

this entire crusade against diversity in hiring and admissions is based on the supposition that all white men are necessarily more qualified than any nonwhite person or woman who might be considered for the job. like, this lawsuit more or less states that outright.

I've finally watched this John Oliver segment and it's a brilliant illustration of the point I tried to make below: www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYwq...
Some reduce the 2024 campaign to a contest between two old men, but it's a choice of two slates of federal appointees who'll impact your life in a million ways. Biden has staffed executive agencies with excellent choices who are doing good work. Trump will empower an army of Stephen Millers.

If Trump should win, Biden, on his last day in office, should issue pardons to himself, his family, all Democratic members of Congress, all DOJ officials, all FBI officials and agents, all special prosecutors, and anyone who Trump has targeted for retaliation.

1: The US Supreme Court will not act prior to sentencing; there no basis for them to do so, and Trump's lawyers have not made any request. 2: Trump and Republicans see SCOTUS as an arm of their political and policy machine. 3: There is an increasing public perception that SCOTUS is not neutral.
But remember, he's "okay" with going to jail. (Again, no, he isn't.) But uh.... just what the fuck is the Supreme Court supposed to do here? Jump into the appeals process mere days after the verdict and a month and change before sentencing.... to do what?

Finally read this. The context for the slur makes it entirely believable. But the rest is just as awful. NBC knowingly resurrected a washed up, racist, misogynist, parasitic con man, and presented him to the country as a brilliant, cutting-edge businessman. It felt dirty just reading it.

100% true. Trump is a narcissist, in the classical sense: he believes only in power, and the construction of reality from will: His viewpoint is imposed on others through only will, and that there is no objective reality beyond that, and lacks the empathy to see others do not view the world that way
Read @adamserwer.bsky.social as always: www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv... When it comes to Trump...I'm very convinced that he sincerely believes that all trials (and elections, etc.) are "rigged" and nothing is ever on the up-and-up so the only possible explanation to losing is "rigged." And...

My general thought on the Trump verdict is that this is a case that HE actively lost more than the prosecution won. Don't get me wrong, the prosecution put on a hell of a case. They knew their weak point was going to be Michael Cohen's credibility so they did everything they could to support it
