My guess is that Trump knows very little about P25 *and* it will be the blueprint for his administration. He’s famously bored by policy. He’ll appoint these people because they’re loyal. They’ll then go to work on the plan while he grifts, golfs, and gives two-hour speeches at rallies.

Think about the baselines here. Taney inherited a vile political system and dedicated his career to perpetuating it. Roberts inherited a system that, although flawed on any number of dimensions, sought to uphold a modest version of democratic equality. He's dedicated his career to dismantling it.

Remarkably, the only really bad headlines coming out of the debate were the "Dems call on Biden to drop out of the race" ones so, great job guys

CNN, MSNBC, NBC News, and Fox news, of those sites, 3/4ers no longer have the debate as the top story, NBC news doesn't even have the debate over the fold, I couldn't even see the headline on my monitor. All of the meta coverage goes something like, Biden disappoints, Trump lies a bunch
