My husband did this at the Smithsonian in the old Arctic exhibit (he lived with the Inupiat for a while). We got horrified looks from passers by as he rated each endangered spp. "Delicious" "fishy" "very greasy, but you need that up there..."

Turns out "moderate" is the midpoint between the guy doing the bare minimum to get us by, and Chaos

Obviously Ross Douthat doesn't want any Democrat to win but it's funny to see the guy whose No. 1 publishable opinion is that Americans need to have more babies pretend to go for the guy who blew up the child tax credit

I am still unwinding the damage done to my (usually strong) mental state by the horror of the pandemic. Still discovering that acquaintances have died.

I don’t know how to explain to our nation’s top editorial boards that the Democratic Party is an actual organization with a lot of rules and history to it, not just a store that distributes team jerseys, and it has already selected delegates to its nominating convention.
